BPC has been closely monitoring the State Water Resources Control Board’s (State Water Board) development of new proposed Procedures for Discharges of Dredged or Fill Material to Waters of the State, for inclusion in the Water Quality Control Plan for Inland Surface Waters and Enclosed Bays and Estuaries and Ocean Waters of California. We originally expected the latest version of the proposal to be released by the State Water Board this spring and planned our June 14th workshop on the topic accordingly, but the proposal is still being developed and we have decided to postpone our event until it is released. Our latest understanding is that the release may not come until the State Water Board has completed more work regarding the California WaterFix, which currently has its primary attention.
