MTC: What should the Bay Area look like in 2050?

Help Us Plan the Future of the Bay Area!

Bay Area Futures

The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) and the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) are partner regional agencies working together to make the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area a better place to live for people from all walks of life.

MTC and ABAG have launched an exciting new initiative, tentatively called Futures, which will allow planners, policymakers and the public to wrestle with challenging questions about the forces that could shape the Bay Area through 2050. Learn more about Futures: mtc.ca.gov/futures.
