International science and engineering firm Integral Consulting Inc. is expanding its marine science and engineering practice, welcoming Aimee Thurlow as Senior Consultant. With 12 years of experience in offshore energy development in regions including the coast of Africa, Central and South America, and the Gulf of Mexico, Ms. Thurlow will open Integral’s newest office in Houston, Texas, serving our clients globally.

Ms. Thurlow is an ocean engineer with broad experience in the oil and gas industry, including project management, site characterization, and long-term planning and development. Her specialties include data acquisition and interpretation, layout of large oil/gas field developments, export pipelines, green field projects, and coastal engineering.

“Aimee has a reputation for bringing technical excellence and value to large scale international projects,” said Integral Principal Craig Jones.  “We are thrilled that she has joined our team.”

With a strong technical and project management background, Ms. Thurlow has designed, implemented, and managed metocean, geophysical, geotechnical, and environmental programs required for engineering design, construction, installation, and operational phases of a project. Her projects have included planning and managing site characterization and survey activities on a subsea team for the world’s largest major liquefied natural gas project. In addition, she was a member of the geohazards team responsible for selecting and mitigating the risk of the pipeline crossing location at the technically challenging Congo River Canyon, and she recently led the site characterization for a project in West Africa.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Ms. Thurlow holds an M.S. in ocean engineering and a B.S. in marine science.  She is currently vice chair of the Loop Current and Eddy Alliance and serves on the Environmental Forces Committee for the Society of Underwater Technology. Ms. Thurlow is an active member of the Marine Technology Society and the Hydrographic Society.

Ms. Thurlow will practice out of the Houston Office at 9595 Six Pines Drive, Suite 8210, The Woodlands, TX, 77380. She can be reached at (936) 235-4935 or
