BPC’s Marinas & Boatyards Committee coordinated and participated in a conference call with the Protected Resources Division of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) for guidance on addressing problematic encounters with sea lions. Committee members took this opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the Marine Mammal Protection Act as it related to take, appropriate deterrence methods, and the protection of human health.
