Film & Lecture Series presents…
Dayla Soul, Director and longtime surfer, will join The Bay Institute and Aquarium of the Bay to show her new film, “It Ain’t Pretty.” This inspiring film features female surfers who ride the powerful waves off San Francisco’s Ocean Beach and some who venture out to big wave spots such as the world-famous Maverick’s off Half Moon Bay, CA. The showing will be followed by a discussion with Dayla and some of the surfers featured in the film.
“I decided to make this film because I want to share the truth about who we are as female surfers and show the ability, skill, and determination it takes to surf here in Northern California.”
