LEAP Framework:

Around the globe, waters are rising. While many of the institutions charged with taking action are moving forward, they are moving too slowly to keep pace with a fast-changing climate.

Adaptation planning in the SF Bay Area and coastal California has been hamstrung by the petrification of the progressive ethos that attempted to “Save the Bay” in the 20th century.

Our vulnerable, voiceless communities, and our already-imperiled ecosystems will, of course, suffer the most.

The Live Edge Adaptation Project proposes a bold new vision for San Francisco Bay for the 21st century and beyond.
