PortFest: 30 Days, 30 Reasons to Come Saturday, October 3

30 days to PortFest VI, a public waterfront event,  at the Port of Redwood City, Saturday, October 3.

1.    It’s free and so is parking. 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

5.    NEW THIS YEAR! West Grand Boulevard is a band out of Oakland that plays classic Motown, R&B, and Soul. Check them out at http://www.westgrandblvd.com/

6.    Local celebrity Chef Steve Cortez will be providing chowder & fish tacos for sale and a free fish cooking demonstration. See his picture below.

7.    Working Waterfront Trolley Tour–go behind the scenes for a guided half-hour tour of the Port’s industrial businesses, presented by Seaport Industrial Association.

8.    A bounce house for kids.

11.  Getting to PortFest! Take the train and shuttle to the Port of Redwood City for the free public PortFest festival.
