Agendas for South Bay Salt Pond Restoration August 4th Stakeholder & Draft EIS/EIR Meetings

The agendas for the South Bay Salt Pond Restoration Project Stakeholder Forum and Alviso, Eden Landing and Ravenswood Working Groups meeting on Tuesday, August 4 have been posted online.

The meeting will run from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the Mountain View Community Center, 201 S. Rengstorff Ave, Mountain View.

Shortly after the Stakeholder Forum/Working Groups meeting, at the same site, the Project will hold a 6:00-8:00 PM public meeting to share information and dialogue about the Draft Environmental Impact Statement/Report for Phase 2 restoration and public access alternatives at Alviso and Ravenswood ponds.

The meeting will be preceded by a 1:30-2:30 p.m. walking tour of Ponds R5 and S5 in Menlo Park, where our potential mix of Phase 2 alternative options include enhancing the ponds for pond birds or shore birds, adding bird islands and habitat transition areas, building public trails, improving levees, designing the ponds to store stormwater, and/or incorporating the City of Redwood City’s Bayfront Canal and Atherton Channel Project.
