Free San Francisco Symphony Concert at the Port

The Port of San Francisco, the Exploratorium and the San Francisco Symphony are pleased to announce a free public concert at noon on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Cruise Terminal Plaza at Pier 27. The Symphony’s annual Free Summer Community Concert featuring guest artist Bryce Dessner, will be presented at Cruise Terminal Plaza in front of the James R. Herman Cruise Terminal. This will be the first community event held at the Port’s new 2.5 acre lawn open space. Similarly to the free symphony concerts that SF Symphony used to hold in Justin Herman Plaza, there will be some sound amplification from approximately noon to 2 p.m.  No reserved seating.  Public transit and recycling encouraged.
