Public Workshop: Instream Flow in Delta Tributaries

The Sacramento – San Joaquin Delta Conservancy is hosting a public education workshop on the role of instream flow in creating healthy riverine ecosystems in tributaries to the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. The workshop will focus on current efforts in the tributary watersheds and information that can be used in future efforts to improve and maintain the riverine ecosystems of the Delta. A diverse group of representatives from the State, water agencies, and a nongovernmental organization will discuss the following topics:

  • Phase 4 of the Water Board’s Bay-Delta effort: flow objectives
  • Instream flow and beneficial uses
  • Sierra Nevada watersheds and the Delta
  • Healthy aquatic ecosystems and the Clean Water Act

Date: Tuesday, December 2, 2014

Time: 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
