This is a message from the State Water Resources Control Board.

The State Water Board is releasing for public review the following revised draft documents related to the proposed Statewide National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit for Drinking Water Systems Discharges to Waters of the United States:

 

(1)    Final Draft Resolution (with tracked changes indicating changes made to the Draft Resolution issued for public comments on June 6, 2014)

(2)    Final Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration (also with tracked changes indicating changes as stated above) 

(3)    Final Draft Statewide NPDES Permit for Discharges from Drinking Water Systems to Waters of the United States 

(4)    Summary of major changes made to the Draft Permit issued for public comments on July 3, 2014

 

A Second Revised Notice of Opportunity for Public Comment and Notice of Public Hearing and Adoption Meeting was released on September 9, 2014.  These revised draft documents address comments received on the June 6, 2014 and July 3, 2014 draft documents.  These revised documents are being released to the public for review in advance of the meeting agenda for the October 21, 2014 board meeting, where the State Water Board will consider adoption of these revised draft documents.  The State Water Board will not accept further written comments on these revised draft documents.  All further comments on these revised draft documents must be made orally to the State Water Board during the October 21, 2014 meeting.  Additional information is available at http://www.swrcb.ca.gov/water_issues/programs/npdes/drinkingwatersystems.shtml
