Conan O’Brien Joins the Save Our Water Effort

Save Our Water’s efforts to raise awareness of the need for extraordinary water conservation got another celebrity boost today with iconic comedian and television talk show host Conan O’Brien and his sidekick Andy Richter joining the effort. O’Brien and Richter created a series of public service announcements to promote water conservation. Six videos featuring the duo – and their humorous take on simple ways to save water – were released today, challenging Californians to do their part in cutting personal water use by 20 percent. The videos are available at [http://www.saveourwater.com<http://www.saveourwater.com]www.saveourwater.com<http://www.saveourwater.com>.

The PSAs – produced in partnership with Save Our Water, the Natural Resources Defense Council and the California Water Foundation – will be featured statewide across digital, social media, and radio networks. Save Our Water is launching the paid radio push on Monday, August 11 on targeted CBS radio stations in major markets. The spots will air for two weeks and will also be heard on select Clear Channel stations.

We’ve already heard reports from partners around the state today that local TV stations have been airing the Conan PSA – let us know if you see the PSA in your area by emailing us at partners@saveourwater.com<mailto:partners@saveourwater.com>!
