The Shell Martinez Refinery and Save Mount Diablo collaborated on a documentary about the 2013 project to restore the historic beacon on top of Mount Diablo.
The beacon is lit once a year, on Dec. 7, to commemorate the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Shell workers and contract partners volunteered in the restoration effort.
