Looking Upstream: Managing California’s Headwaters for Sustainability
This event begins on August 13 with a tour of a Forest Management Demonstration Area in South Lake Tahoe.
Following the tour, a poster session will be available in the evening during the welcome reception.
On August 14, the Summit continues covering topics such as:

· Red Tape Ahead: Evaluating the Impact of Potential Expansions in Clean Water Act Jurisdiction
· SFPUC Upper Tuolumne Watershed Update: Partnership and Innovation

· Managing Forests for Water Quality: Local Perspectives
· Beneath the Bark: Impacts of Forests Pests on California’s Headwaters
In the closing session, leadership from ACWA’s Headwaters Framework Workgroup will provide an inside look at ACWA’s latest major policy document to advance sustainable management of California’s headwaters.
A continental breakfast will be available (Aug. 14, 8-9 a.m.) and lunch will also be served between meetings.
