The State Water Board has announced proposed regulations that would require curtailments on water diversions if minimum flows in three Sacramento River tributaries are not met. The emergency regulations will establish drought emergency minimum flow requirements for the protection of specific runs of federal- and state-listed anadromous fish in Mill Creek, Deer Creek and Antelope Creek, and are a first step towards potential curtailments in those creeks.
