Notice of Draft Waste Discharge Requirements for Public Review and Comment

The Water Board intends to consider adopting the Tentative Order to prescribe waste discharge requirements for the management of wastewater from domestic and winery sources, at the Concannon Winery facility at 4596 Tesla Road, in Livermore Valley, just outside of City of Livermore.  The Water Board intends to consider this matter during a public hearing and meeting that will commence at the time and place indicated below:

PLACE:   First Floor Auditorium, Elihu Harris State Building

The Tentative Order can be obtained at http://www.waterboards.ca.gov/sanfranciscobay/board_decisions/tentative_orders.shtml or by contacting Blair Allen at (510) 622-2305 or ballen@waterboards.ca.gov.  Please review the Tentative Order and submit any comments in writing to the Water Board no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 9, 2014. Persons wishing to file written comments on or objections to the Tentative Order or other aspects of this matter must do so no later than this deadline so that such comments may be considered.  Please submit comments to the Water Board office address given in the letter footer, and address the comments to the attention of Blair Allen. Responses to comments will be posted on the Water Board website one week prior to the hearing.

Pursuant to section 2050(c) of Title 23 of the California Code of Regulations, any party that challenges the Water Board’s action on this matter through a petition to the State Water Resources Control Board under Water Code section 13320 will be limited to raising only those substantive issues or objections that were raised before the Water Board at the public hearing or in timely submitted written correspondence.
