Weiss Associates, one of northern California’s most respected environmental consulting firms and a Certified Small Business, has been awarded an estimated $600K contract with the Port of Oakland to provide Environmental Compliance Consulting for the Port’s Oakland seaport, the Oakland International Airport, and commercial real estate along the Oakland Estuary.
Weiss has had a long-standing relationship with the Port – specifically the Environmental Programs and Planning Division – in providing groundwater monitoring, remedial investigation, storm water pollution prevention, remediation engineering, regulatory compliance, air quality, and risk assessment support services.
“We are very pleased to have the opportunity to continue our partnership and collaboration with the Port of Oakland,” said Weiss’s Project Manager for the Port, Joyce Adams, a Professional Geologist and Certified Hydrogeologist. “We are looking forward to providing the Port’s Environmental Programs and Planning Division staff with the highest quality technical support over the term of this contract.”
