WHEN:            Thursday, October 11, 2012

                              8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

                                Attendees are invited to stay for a complimentary brewery tour and beer tasting.

 

The Solano Project, consists of Monticello Dam, Lake Berryessa, and an extensive transmission system of canals and pipes, constructed by the Bureau of Reclamation in 1957. The Solano Project operates by itself, independent of other state and federal water projects.  It delivers high quality, almost drought-proof water for agriculture and municipal use in Solano County. This tour will visit the dam and powerhouse, a stream restoration project, two agricultural irrigation canals with recent water conservation improvements, a municipal water treatment plant, and an optional tour of the Anheuser Busch Brewery. Registration Fee: $ 60.00

Registration fee includes: transportation, materials, breakfast, lunch, and snacks on the bus. All attendees must sign an ACWA Voluntary Release and Waiver prior to participating on the tour. This waiver can be found HERE, or at www.acwa.com.

 

Registration deadline: October 4, or until space is full.

Cancellations must be received in writing by 5 p.m. on October 4, 2012, in order to cancel a registration and receive reimbursement.

 

Attire: Closed-toed shoes, sun hat, sun glasses are highly suggested for this tour.
